Parks located within the Town of Pagosa Springs are open from dawn to dusk with exceptions for special events.
Dogs
Dogs are welcome in Pagosa Springs parks. The Town of Pagosa Springs has a leash law, Ordinance 4.1.4, in which dog owners are required to have control of their dog with a leash or lead. Dog owners are also required to immediately clean up any dog waste that their animal desposits in the park. The Parks Department has Mutt Mitt stations in all of the parks and along the riverwalk to aid dog owners in this task.

Downtown
River Center Park
River Center Park is situated on the San Juan River on the east side of Pagosa Springs. In addition to river access, the park boasts two ponds that provide both fishing and ice skating dependent upon the season and conditions. Tables and barbecues provide great places to stop and picnic or just relax on one of the park benches and enjoy the park.
Yamaguchi Park
Located at the southern end of the riverwalk, Yamaguchi Park is bordered on the east by the San Juan River and has over a half-mile of sidewalks. Yamaguchi Park is the place to get out and get active. It features two small-scale climbing walls, "big-kids" play are, 'little tykes" play area, skate park, gazebo, soccer fields, and basketball court.
Town (Pirate) Park
One of Pagosa Springs' oldest parks, Town Park straddles the San Juan River in the heart of downtown Pagosa Springs. The site of many events, Town Park is by far one of the most popular parks in Pagosa Springs.
South Pagosa Park
Although South Park is not located along the San Juan River, it offers a variety of activities to enjoy the outdoors. From horseshoes to volleyball, South Park is a great place to hang out with family and friends.
Centennial Park
Centennial Park is located along the San Juan River Walk in downtown Pagosa Springs. It is home to the Geothermal Greenhouse Partnership, has public restrooms, and picnic tables near the river. There is also a beach play area in low water conditions for summer play along the river.
Cotton Hole Park
Cotton Hole Park in downtown Pagosa Springs at the east end of Hermosa St. Featuring tree shaded picnic areas, small beach and swimming hole on the San Juan River.
Reservoir Hill Park
With access points off of Hot Springs Blvd and behind the San Juan Motel, Reservoir Hill is an outdoor treasure. Locals and visitors alike enjoy hiking, mountain biking, snow shoeing, and cross country skiing on the many trails traversing the hill.
Reservoir Hill is also home to an 18-hole, disc golf course. From Main Street, turn left off Hot Springs Blvd at Spring Street, just past the Post Office. Park at the gate and walk up the access road to hole 1.
Uptown
Cloman Park
Cloman Park is an open space park northwest of downtown Pagosa Springs off of Piedra Road and Cloman Blvd. It features an 18-hole disc golf course, hiking and biking trails, and groomed cross-country ski trails in the winter.
