Experience Pagosa Springs, Colorado with a Majestic Trail Ride

We offer private horseback rides and camping/fishing trips from May to October. As owner Larry Melton says, “Riding with Majestic is like traveling through a time tunnel.” Experience the San Juan Mountains as they were explored 150 years ago. We are known for our friendly horses, breathtaking vistas, and unique locations.

Rocky MountainWildlife Park is a privately owned facility in operation since 1986. Our purpose is to educate people about native Colorado wildlife and provide an opportunity to see these beautiful animals up close in natural habitats.

All of our animals are non-releasable. Some are rescues from people who had them as pets and realized they do not make good pets. Some are rescues from the wild who were injured or orphaned. Others were born in captivity. We strive to keep them all content and healthy.

Summer Horseback Trail Riding - All trail rides are guided by an experienced wrangler that will get you set up on your horse and lead you through the beautiful scenery of Colorado. We have several very gentle horses that are suitable for children and first time riders. We offer half hour and one hour rides. The trail passes through a meadow landscape with rolling hills and scattered trees. 

We also have one of the largest Art Galleries in Pagosa. Originals, Glicee, and signed prints by many amazing artists.

Take a moment to enjoy the Rocky Mountain outdoors with us. We offer private land are elk, and Merriam’s turkey hunts in Southwest Colorado and Northern New Mexico. We specialize in horseback hunts and are happy to customize any hunt to suit your capabilities. We are proud to offer mobility impaired hunts, children’s hunts, and welcome lady hunters. We embrace the privilege of welcoming a new hunter or huntress to the hunting tradition. We have experienced male and female guides whose goal is to make your hunt a successful and memorable one.We look forward to creating your hunt of a lifetime and look forward to you coming back for more.
