Ice Skating can be enjoyed by the entire family. Grab a pair of skates and let loose! In the winter months, weather in Pagosa is typically snow-covered and frozen for at least a few weeks!! With this, we find as many ways as possible to have fun!
Ice Skating Locations
River Center Park
River Center Park is situated on the San Juan River on the east side of Pagosa Springs. In addition to river access, the park boasts two ponds that provide both fishing and ice skating dependent upon the season and conditions. Tables and barbecues provide great places to stop and picnic or just relax on one of the park benches and enjoy the park.

The Pagosa Multi-Purpose Pavilion is a 501c3 non profit. Powered by volunteers, we prepare the ice skating rink each winter season. Planning, fund raising, and teaching allow an experience to Pagosa Springs residents and visitors.

Summit Ski & Sports
We are a full service ski & snowboard rental shop. Our services include sport and demo rentals, snowshoes, cross country skis, hot waxing, tunes, and other repairs. Our customers can purchase clothing and accessories for protection from the elements or take home a souvenir Wolf Creek Colorado t-shirt or sweatshirt. In the summer we carry a variety of outdoor clothing and footwear including flip flops and river shoes. We are a disc golf info center providing discs for rent or purchase--stop by and pick up a map of the Reservoir Hill course. When the river is flowing around 400cfs we also rent river tubes to float down the San Juan River.
